This is a genuine Yamaha exhaust mid-pipe, also known as the catbox or pre-silencer, removed from a 2004 Yamaha YZF R1. The part is in used condition with significant heat-induced bronze discolouration and some surface corrosion, particularly at the connection points. It contains the catalytic converter element.
