This is a genuine BMW rear suspension shock absorber with Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), manufactured by ZF. It was removed from a 2019 BMW R1250GS Adventure Exclusive. The shock is in good working order, although there is some visible surface rust/corrosion on the white spring coils as shown in the images. All electronic connectors and mounting points are intact.
